The bracket system is cleverly engineered so that it mounts to existing points on the body.

This means that there is no cutting or drilling required. The only tools required for the job are screw drivers, a 12mm & 13mm socket, and a 13mm spanner.

The wiring is also a piece of cake. The kit includes a plug & play high beam adaptor, so no soldering or cutting is needed. It also has a complete wiring loom, so that there is no additional components required.

Does this affect air flow? The TrailBait light bar bracket spaces the light at the front of the grille cavity, so there is enough space for air to flow around and behind it. This means that there will not be any ‘hot spots’ on the radiator or intercooler. Here is a real customer review: “I’ve got a 21.5 inch light behind my grille and using the torque pro app there was no difference in temps from before to now.. either at speed or stopped in traffic.”

Trans cooler: This is compatible with the Direction Plus transmission cooler. We have not tested any others.
